Renowned wildlife photographer Frans Lanting called the Okavango Delta “Africa’s Last Eden” … an apt description, as this unique inland delta teems with wildlife, often in concentrations found nowhere else on earth.

The Okavango is our default answer to the question often posed of us; “What is the one place I should go on safari?”

This unique wilderness is comprised of seasonally flooding waterways dotted with innumerable islands - some of them large enough to hold forests of enormous trees in turn shading sizeable mammal herds. Using intimate local knowledge to navigate these areas also enables frequent encounters with larger predators, including lions and leopards, as well as the highly endangered African Painted Wolf.

The protected reserves of the Okavango host a tremendous range of accommodation options, spread widely to offer exclusive privacy for wildlife encounters. Many of these camps are so remote that they are only accessible by boat or light aircraft. The choices are so varied that there are exceptional spots matching every safari-goers’ wishes, from our own private temporary camps hidden far in the delta, through to beautifully designed private lodges.
